Procedures and Sequence of Treatment:

1. Smile Analysis:
First, a thorough examination and diagnosis to better understand the patient's expectations and needs via a series of interview questions.

2. Diagnostic Waxed-up Models:
The Dentist will do a diagnostic wax up using a fabricated study model to illustrate the mock up of the final results of the treatment.

3. Treatment Planning Discussion:
Dentist will give a comprehensive explanation of the treatment's pros and cons, risks and available options, using the waxed-up model.

4. Veneer Preparation:
Upon confirmation on the treatment plan, the Dentist will then perform the veneer preparation on the teeth, which involves making and issuing a set of temporary veneers for the patient to wear. The temporary veneers serve as an interim for patient to feedback on the shape, size, orientation and colour of the veneers before the final real porcelain laminate veneers are issued.

5. Veneer Cementation:
The temporary veneers are removed and the teeth cleaned. The individual porcelain laminate veneers are then cemented onto the teeth using composite resin cements. The occlusion (bite) is checked and adjusted. Oral hygiene instruction is reinforced on the patient.

6. Reviews:
Only at Victoria Dentalcare, we offer 1 week, 1 month, 3 months and 6 months post cementation review of the veneers as well as maintenance of the veneers as part of the package of treatment.
